LEADERSHIP
Dr. R.D.Vispute, CEO & CTO
 |
Dr. Vispute is the
founder of Blue Wave Semiconductors, Inc. and
serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and
Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Blue Wave
Semiconductors.
He has
been
Principal
Investigator for several National Science
Foundation grants and DOD contracts on thin film
electronic and photonic materials and devices.
He received his PhD in Physics, and MS and BS
degrees from the University of Pune, India.
From
1993-96 he was a post-doc student at North
Carolina State University, Raleigh, North
Carolina USA. In 1996, he joined University of
Maryland, College Park, Maryland USA as an
Assistant Research Scientist. Currently,
he holds
4 patents, has authored 4 book chapters, and has published
over 90 research papers on electronic thin film
materials and devices.
Dr. Vispute has received several
awards including the “Dr. R.K. Bhalla” award by
the Indian Physics Association, first prize from
the Materials Research Society, India for best
poster presentation, “Dr. B.B. Roy” award
for best Ph.D. thesis, and an award from
the
National Collegiate Innovation and
Invention Alliance, USA.

Venky Venkatesan

Dr Venkatesan is Chairman, CTO and Founder of
Neocera Semiconductors Company at Beltsville,
MD, USA serving nanotechnology R&D market
worldwide.
For 12 years, Dr. Venkatesan has been
a professor of Physics and Electrical
Engineering at the University of Maryland,
College Park, USA.
Dr. Venkatesan has published over 450
papers and holds 26 patents in technology areas.
Prior to his tenure with the University,
Dr. Venkatesan led several R&D programs
over the course of his 17 years with Bell Labs
and Bellcore. |
